Yesterday, Sooner greats, Tommie Harris, Adrian Peterson, Mark Clayton and Roy Williams embarked on a journey to Uganda. To often in sports and entertainment we only hear about the negative things that athletes do. Yes, I’m no dummy I know the gossip, blunders, embarrassments and misfortunes sell, but sometimes you want to hear the good things people are doing.
We’ll these four young men are doing a great service for the country of Uganda, and they may not even know it but they’ll also be helping themselves as well. I’ve been to Ghana which is in West Africa and it was an eye opening experience. It made me appreciate everything I had in life. The media may not give this much coverage, but I’m going to make sure I do.
One of them is armed with a camera to get exclusive 6Magazine footage, they’ll be gone for two weeks. I can’t wait to see what they bring back. Check out this video.
