2010 Nike 7ON Tournament – Day 2 In PicturesJuly 12, 2010
Here is the second day of pics from my time at the Nike 7ON tournament. Nike engineers and designers took us through the Nike Pro Combat gear. We also got a chance to look at the new Nike Trainer 1.2 and the New line of Air Hurrache’s inspired by Arizona Cardinals wideout, Larry Fitzgerald.
The Trainer 1.2 has many colors and inspirations. There is Ken Griffey Jr. shoe, Philadelphia Phillies shoe, Nolan Ryan shoe, Tim Tebow/NCAA Football 2011 shoe, Chris Johnson shoe, and many more colors.
The line is sick! They have colorways from Larry’s time as a ball boy for the Vikings, a Pittsburgh Panther color and an Arizona Cardinals inspired coloway. The coolest colors is the insight the Nike Designers went into when Larry is on the field. The green colorway is for when he’s at the line going up against the jam from a CB, signifying Fitz as the Green Hornent. The all red colorway is signifcant of Larry being like the Flash when he’s in his route. The last colorway is when the ball is up in the air signifying that Fitz leaps in mid-air as if he is Superman. Dope insight and great ideas and even better shoes!
