I tried to wrap my thoughts around this and come up with something thought provoking, but fuck it. I’m just going to go in…
The first thing that comes to my mind with this trade is…this Monday Night, the Vikings and the Jets play in the Meadowlands. Remember what happened last time Revis and Moss went head to head? Here’s a reminder.
Yeah, Moss has a vacation home on Revis Island, it’s located on Slouch street and he doesn’t pay any taxes either.
The second thing that comes to mind is that Favre finally got his wish. He’s always wanted to play with Randy since his days in Green Bay, and he’s finally got his man.
So…at Favre’s disposal he has, Moss, Harvin, and once Sidney Rice gets healthy it’s gonna be a problem. So what does this mean for Bernard Berriman? Is a release imminent for Chad Ochocinco’s love dating guru, most likely.
How does Tom Brady feel?
I’d be pissed and would feel hustled. The Patriots a month ago said hey Tom, were gonna pay you a lot of money but withheld info that they’d be giving away his favorite receiver. Be honest people, do you really think Brady resigns his deal if he knows Moss isn’t going to be back? Everyone thinks Tom is cool with this and professional about it, but naw, I disagree. I know he’s pissed. Take Jerry Rice away from Steve Young or Joe Montana or Michael Irvin from Troy Aikman.
We’ll find out how good Wes Welker really is. Did he need Randy or did Randy need him.
Bill Belichick is not as smart as he thinks he is. Granted he thinks for the future and he’s stock piling draft picks with the Moss trade, and the Richard Seymour trade last year. He’s basically giving up on this team if you ask me. Those draft picks he’s stock piling who’s to say that he doesn’t wiff on some of those guys. How about if you’re a Patriot fan and you know that your team said fuck this season, we’ll try and get ‘em next season.
Adrian Peterson is finna go ape shit! Plane ape shit(flying through secondaries)….he’s been balling this year going up against an 8-man boxes all year and has been doing his thing when they give him the ball. Now Randy is going to open it up. You’ll be able to fit Boeing 747′s through those running lanes. With running lanes and Minnesota and construction and traffic going on in Tennessee Chris Johnson’s reign as the best back in the league isn’t going to last long.
