Do People Really Change?November 12, 2010
First off, let me say this…one of these days I’ll have the access I need. Pre blog rant….why the hell can’t you find any data on stats.com? Do I have to pay for it, I tried, but there is no where to pay? Either way…onto what’s on my mind…Roddy White.
Do people change? Really, do they? If person is a cheater all their lives does a wedding ring change them? I’ve found that people only change when their is a chance of death or after they lose something they truly value. Hey Bill, you’re going to die if you don’t stop smoking. Damn..I’ll stop smoking because I want to live. Hey Al, how’d that gambling addiction turn out for you….you lost your job, family, wife etc.
Roddy White…has he really changed? He leads the league in catches and yards right now. He’s been balling out of this world. I didn’t think he was going to turn it around. As a young WR he had so many drops it wasn’t even funny. I’d never seen someone drop the ball so much since Jerry Jones when it comes to being a GM.
Roddy has picked it up as he’s one of the best WR in the league, I wouldn’t say elite (top 5) but he’s definitely one of the best (top 10). White did have a critical drop at the end of the game, but he did score the game winning TD. Oh yeah, that drop last night at the critical moment…it was his first all year long.
70 catches and one drop….I guess people do change.
