Michael Vick is balling. So I’ll tell you something else you know, but aren’t paying very much attention too. Mike Williams is balling. Yes that Mike Williams…USC Mike Williams…..the real deal as a freshman, had to sit out at USC one year, still got drafted first round by the Lions. Once he got to Detroit and Tennessee, he ate his way out of the league and didn’t care and blew up to 270 lbs. Damn….270 though?
Williams was gone for two years from the league…aka he was gone and wasn’t coming back. The most you can take off of football is a year tops before your skills diminish. I mean look at when Vick came back last year from a two year layoff…he wasn’t the same Vick. It wasn’t until this year that Vick came back to the old Vick. Williams has been playing like he never left. He’s down to 230 pounds and hasn’t shrunk so he’s still 6’5″. He’s had a season high 11 catches this season. He leads the team with 46 catches and 545 yards and only 1 touchdown. Not super great numbers, or are they given the man has been out of the game for two years. Can’t wait to see once he gets his legs back next year.
