Given the Jets victory over the Patriots this weekend, there has been a lot of controversy over players talking trash back and fourth leading up to game day. I am personally all for it. I think it gives an added dimension to the game outside of the anticipation of watching it. Want proof? The New York Jets’ upset of the New England Patriots on Sunday was a smashing ratings success. The CBS broadcast of the Jets’ 28-21 win drew a 26.2 rating.
