As you all have heard Roger Goodell has put out the PR patrol to cushion himself in the likely event of an NFL Lockout. He called a blogger last week in Denver, which was cool. I commend Roger for that. Goodell also announced that he would reduce his salary to $1 from $10 million if there was an NFL lockout.
I’m going to need more specifics please. What does this mean, once the lockout is over you get the $9,999,999 back? If you don’t get it back, where does it go? Seriously, what does this really do? Don’t just tell me you’re reducing your salary, tell me what is going to happen to the huge amount of money that’s being reduced.
Does this money magically unlock the lockout WHEN it DOES occur? I’m just confused someone fill me in please. Right now, I smell nothing more than a PR ploy.
