Word on the street is that the Jets are interested in signing Randy Moss. This story feels like when Tupac got shot and Suge and Snoop came rescued Pac once he got out of jail. Wideouts are the prima donnas of the league and the Jets already have two high profile receivers in Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards. Let me take that back, Santonio Holmes is not a prima donna, he’s actually a good ass wide receiver and when he stays out of trouble he’s a great receiver.
The interest in Randy is because the Jets most likely can’t resign both Holmes and Edwards. Holmes is clearly the better receiver of the two and the Jets will make sure they resign him. I imagine if Edwards wants to win, he’ll take less money and stay a Jet. But with the violence of the game and the short length of a football career, you’ve got to get as much money as you can get so Edwards is a goner.
Just look at the stats between the two. I mean, who would you keep?

Who would you rather have? Edwards or Moss?
No, Moss isn’t a spring chicken, but he still can ball and ball a lot better than Edwards. Moss will be a good fit for the Jets and be able to stretch the field with more consistency and catch the ball with more consistency. You see how he plays when he’s on a good team also. Moss was shell shocked for the rest of the year after he was traded from the Patriots, and he really didn’t give a fuck honestly. I guarantee you Randy Moss on a Super Bowl contender is model citizen. No he’s not the missing link to get the Jets to the Super Bowl, he’s simply a good replacement(upgrade) for Braylon Edwards.
This is all relative depending up on all this lockout mess, that I really don’t want to talk about.
