Young Jeezy has his own Summer JamJuly 26, 2011
I’ve been in NYC for six months now. Last night’s Young Jeezy concert was by far the best show I’ve been too. The shows I’ve been to include a Kanye West show, Big Boi, Big Sean, and more.
Jezzy was in town for his six year anniversary of his debut album Thug Motivation 101. The line outside was crazy. I kept asking my friends, “Jeezy gets love like this in NYC?”. Every answer was a dumb look towards me followed by a hell yeah! What? I didn’t know. I’m from the South, so I know Jeezy has mad love there, but I didn’t know it was like this in NYC. It was very cool to see.
Once The Snowman hit the stage, he wasted no time spitting his classic rhymes. Jeezy took care of the NYC crowd also, when he brought out Jay-Z, Kanye West, Fabolous, and Bun B. I was waiting for Nas to come out….that would have shut the city down foreal. Like I said, this was the best hip-hop show I’ve been to in NYC hands down. I can’t wait for Thug Motivation 103 to come out which drops September 20th.
