Chris Johnson East Carolina highlightsAugust 16, 2011
Just thought I’d post this for you guys. Since we won’t be seeing Chris Johnson on a football field anytime soon. He’s a holdout with the Tennessee Titans as you all know. In terms of an agreement, let’s just say the Titans are in LA and Chris Johnson is in NYC and both parties are going to meet in the middle….but they’re both walking.
I forgot how cold he was at ECU. Be honest…did anyone really see him being this good? I was awed by his highlights in college but was skeptical of his size and the competition he faced. I was even more impressed by his 4.24 40 at the NFL scouting combine, and still wasn’t sold. Hell…I even drafted him as a rookie on my fantasy football team and was just “rolling the dice”.
We all know now that he’s the real deal. We’ll everyone knows except the Titans…which is why they are slow playing when it comes to paying this man what he’s worth.
