While everyone goes into a tizzy for war let’s take sometime to celebrate some peace. Before Nicki Minaj was on tour with Britney Spears, before Drake was throwing festivals and aiming for every woman’s heart, the Young Money’s Scottie Pippen was one, Curren$y. While currently running to be everyone’s favorite kind of underground rapper there was a time when people just didn’t know how his departure from the YMCMB family was going to turn out. So I’m especially pleased to see him link-up with his former label head who in the run-up to C4 found enough time to drop a verse over Outkast’s “Elevators (Me & You)”. I’m a give it to Currren$y for this one but Lil Wayne isn’t out-rapped by much and he shouldn’t feel ashamed cause I’d take a Curren$y verse over anyone in the rap game at this point.
