Adrian Peterson signs $96 million dollar contract extensionSeptember 11, 2011
Minnesota Viking, Diesel running back, Adrian Peterson signed a seven-year $96 million dollar deal yesterday. The deal can get as large as $100 million with escalators. $36 million dollars of the contract is guaranteed and $4 million dollars is injury guaranteed.
It’s funny because on Friday, Peterson interviewed with Dan Patrick and was asked how much he was worth. He said $100 million and then Patrick laughed and said he wouldn’t get it. You can check out the interview here(Patrick ask Peterson how much he’s worth at the 26:08 mark).
