While Tyrann Mathieu is rocking the blonde Sisqo look and balling out of his mind for the LSU Tigers, there is one player that would give him a run for his money on the field and in the barber shop. His name is Kenny Stills and he has one crazy ass mow hawk. Last year he was a Freshman All-American WR at OU, and this year he’s All-American Awesomeness on field. Yeah, you did that double take the first time you saw it just like I did. It’s like a hybrid hawk, mullet business in the front and party in the back which translates to bleach blonde in the back and brown in the front.

It could be Mathieu vs. Stills if LSU and Oklahoma go to the Ship. It would be a battle of the best young DB vs one of the best young WRs and a hair Showdown for the ages. Yet, Stills is one of the most dynamic WRs in the country and you don’t make it into 6magazine because of your hair. I’ve noticed something even down here in South Florida, and that’s that “The Still-Hawk” is popping up everywhere I go amongst the younger kids. I have probably seen 25 in the last month.

Stills has been known to tweet versions of his hawk that his followers have put together on Twitter. We all know he would not be the first Oklahoma Sooner to start a fad with his hair, Mr. Brian Bozworth held it down in the 80s when it came to hair styles.. Yet, Stills does it with a different style than the Boz did. Stills wears it well, like a cool sheik and not a steroid warrior crying out for help.

I wonder if Stills consulted Wiz Khalifa before bringing out the Hawk? Wiz has been sporting that Frankenstein-esque blond square in the front for a while now. Either way, we always point out the freshest shit on the field here at 6Magazine from spatted up to this case wild hair. Keep doing your thing young man, because obviously its working. To the kids out there take one thing from all this, if you make a statement on the the field and take care of your business, I don’t think any coach will mind you making a statement with your fresh new du. #Boomer #Sooner
