Monday Morning Cornerback – Week 2September 19, 2011
This week was a let down. I’ve just got to be honest with myself. Outside of OU vs. FSU there wasn’t a lot of action. So what, I’m being greedy, I want Saints vs. Packers and Notre Dame vs. Michigan every single week. Next week better be better!
College Football
LSU is a monster. Plain and simple, the Mississippi State game was worst than what the final score showed. Everyone is yapping about how good Bama’s defense is, LSU’s is much better.
Mississippi State is playing in the ’90s, defense doesn’t win championships anymore.
Boise State will be in cruise control for the next six weeks until they play TCU on November 12th.
What? Oklahoma Sooners with a road win? Could be curtains for the rest of college football if these trend continues. #WhereisRoyFinch
Alabama slept walked to victory and still was able to kick North Texas’ ass.
Florida State may have lost, but they are definitely back. Oh yeah, backup QB, Clint Trickett looked better than EJ Manuel out there.
Stanford could lose two games and Andrew Luck would still win the Heisman.
Wisconsin is #7, but I still feel like people are sleeping on them.
Oklahoma State has the best offense in the country.
Texas A&M would do major damage in the SEC West this year, don’t get it twisted.
The #10 team in the country, the South Carolina Gamecocks, won a close on by three points….to the Navy Midshipmen though.
Nebraska’s defense is going to get them into some trouble when they play Wisconsin and Ohio State.
Didn’t catch a lick of the Oregon or VA Tech games, but they both one easily as they should.
Not sure what to make of Arkansas only beating Troy by 10 points.
Only an idiot would think a Notre Dame team coached by Chip Kelly would lose three games in a row. (Points to self). Michigan State you failed me!

Don’t let that West Virginia score fool you….they’ve got to keep some tricks in the bag for LSU this weekend.
