Redskins will Rock the CowboysSeptember 26, 2011
America’s pseudo team will get a payback for what the Cowboys did to the Indians way way way back in the day. The NFL’s greatest rivalry, Redskins vs. Cowboys, will be played for the 103rd time this Monday. Look for the Redskins to win in a route and Cowboys fan shamelessly defend why they should still be known as America’s team.
College football is all about recruiting the best players. The NFL is all about having the better coach with a good quarterback. I’d rather have a two-time Super Bowl winning Mike Shanahan and Rex Grossman of the Redskins than have the indecisive play calling of Jason Garrett and bad play at the wrong time, Tony Romo of the Cowboys.
Romo also has Broken Battered Quarterback ribs. Washington Redskins cornerback, DeAngelo Hall, has already made it known that he and most likely the entire Redskins defense will be going after Romo’s ribs. Wouldn’t surprise me if the Skins’ ball boy tried to take some shots as well. Also injured is Felix Jones with a separated shoulder, Miles Austin with an aggravated hammy, and Dez Bryant with a quadriceps injury. Austin is definitely out and Jones and Bryant are listed as questionable. If you take away an injured quarterback’s running back and starting wide receivers do you think he’s going to win?
Even if the Cowboys were at full strength the Redskins would still win. The Skins are great on third downs on both sides of the ball and they have a better offensive line as well. Also, how can you trust Tony Romo. Sure, he’s a good quarterback until that good ol’ fourth quarter rolls around and he starts playing for the other team. Tony Romo is the dude that has a chick swooning for the entire date. But once he gets her to the crib, he says the wrong thing and she goes from ready to get it in to ready to get the hell out.
I know Cowboys fans don’t want to hear this, but the best thing to do is bet against the Cowboys on Monday night. The line for the game is Cowboys -3.5, and I hope you realize that’s just Vegas gassing up Cowboys fans. If Cowboys fans bet against the Cowboys and they lose, they’ll win money. If the Cowboys win, they’ll lose money, but be able to wake up Tuesday and proudly pound their chest that America’s Psuedo team won the game last night.
