The good people at UGG Australia invited me to check out their new line of men’s shoes as well as check out their new ad campaign featuring the New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady. Here is an early preview of the commercial which doesn’t air on television until this Monday night during the Dolphins vs. Patriots Monday Night Football game on ESPN at 7pm EST. Being a copywriter and having written commercials myself, I like the commercial. When I first heard about Tom Brady signing with UGG I was like…that’s interesting, and not in a good way. All I could picture was him looking like the guy who wore Women’s UGG in the Summertime during the NBA playoffs at Miami Heat games.
Thankfully, UGG has some sense and they created this dope Men’s line. When you see the products you don’t think UGG until you see the label, and once you see it you think…”Damn, UGG made this?” My perception of the brand changed. They also gave me some cool shoes to take home so thanks again.
