6 Thoughts: NFC Championship Game New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ersJanuary 22, 2012
The San Francisco 49ers have knocked more players out of games than any other team this season.
1. Whoever wins the battle of 3rd down between Carlos Rogers (he covers the slot in their nickel package) and Victor Cruz that players’ team will win the game.
2. The Giants need to thank football jesus for Ted Ginn’s gimpy ankle.
3. The Giants stellar front four was relatively quiet last week. I don’t see that happening two weeks in a row.
4. My gut instinct has been wrong all season, but something tells me not to bet against Jim Harbaugh
5. Don’t be surprised if Frank Gore changes the game with a delayed run
6. Remember when we laughed at Eli Manning’s statements earlier this season that he’s an elite QB. I stopped laughing…did you?
