Adrian Peterson Back?!?!May 25, 2012
Five months ago, Adrian Peterson, aka A.D., tore his ACL and his MCL in his left knee. So someone please tell me why he’s beating his teammates in sprints yesterday? Here’s the story courtesy of TheBigLead.com,
Adrian Peterson tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee on Christmas Eve last year. According to Tom Pellisero, while Peterson was rehabbing at the team facility, he noticed that some of his teammates weren’t running as hard as they could. From head coach Leslie Frazier:
“He says, ‘You know, I don’t think they’re running hard enough.’ Eric [Sugarman, the trainer] allowed him to go out and run with them, and he passed them four different times. He finished in first four different times.”
I’ve known Peterson for about 8 years know and he’s always been a genetic freak and hard worker. The dude is simply bionic. He’s mom ran an 11.43 100m and his dad hooped in college. And if you’ve seen his dad, who is 50 years old, in person you’d think his dad was an NFL tight end. It normally takes players 9 – 12 months to full recover from an ACL. Peterson looks like he’ll be back in August.
A.D. has great genes and an even better work ethic. He’s been doing straight line running for the past month and needs to work on cutting which will begin next week. Training camp begins in two months. Don’t be surprised if he’s full speed on the first day.

That’s all I got,
