I have a love hate relationship with summer. I love the weather, but I hate the fact that only baseball is on TV. I saw a bunch of my friends tweeting from the World Basketball Festival in DC this weekend. There were pics of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and of course Lebron James. My imagination began to run wild and I can to the realization that Bo Jackson and Lebron James are both one in the same.
Both are genetic freaks, absolute freaks of nature. It’s like God overdosed on both of their athletic genes. James stands 6’8″ weighs 245lbs, but he moves like he’s 6’2″ 175 lbs. Jackson was 6’1″ 230 lbs and ran like Deion Sanders. Let me take that back, I think Bo might have been faster than Deion.
Lebron only played one sport, but don’t doubt for a second that he couldn’t play football. Ohio is a football state first, and James was All-State Ohio as a sophomore. We know Bo was the man in football and also went on to be an All-Star in baseball. Think about that….Bo Jackson was an NFL Pro Bowler and an MLB All-Star. Who does that?
It sucks that Bo got injured he could have done for football what Michael Jordan did for basketball. Bo Jackson’s Nike trainers and the Air Jordan basketball shoe came out around the same time. I fully believe that if Bo would have never got hurt his shoe would be just as legendary as Jordan’s are today.
Yeah, that was my thrilling weekend. I came to the revelation that Bo Jackson and Lebron James come from the same athletic liter.
