First year in the Big Ten and the Cornhuskers looked right at home with nine wins beating Ohio State and Penn State.
2012 Offense
Rex Burkhead is a beast and demands to respected. Taylor Martinez is one year older, hopefully smarter, and a better decision maker. If all else fails, he can still tote the rock and run the option.
2012 Defense
The blackshirts are back led by seniors, Damion Stafford and Cameron Meredith. The Cornhuskers are also bringing back five other returning starters on defense.
2012 Outlook
An easy out of conference schedule is what the Cornhuskers need because they play anybody that’s somebody in their conference: Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State, and Wisconsin. If they can win two of these big four games, they’ll be playing for the Big Ten championship.
