Miami Dolphins Hard Knocks Episode 1 – RecapAugust 8, 2012
I watched Hard Knocks: 2012 Miami Dolphins last night. I love Hard Knocks, everything about it. You really get to go behind the scenes and see what really goes on behind the scenes of an NFL Training Camp.
What stood out the most was the freaking wives and girlfriends. We all know Ryan Tannehill’s wife, Lauren is bad, we know Chad Johnson’s “basketball wife” Evelyn is nice, but we had no clue about free agent tight end, Les Brown’s girlfriend. She’s bad.
It’s great and it’s bad. I want to watch Hard Knocks and see what’s going on with the team, not their wives and girlfriends. Hell, Evelyn, got more air time than Reggie Bush, but at the same time looking at good looking women isn’t bad either.
Chad Johnson is a funny guy and makes for great TV no matter what. I’m not sure how good the show would be if he wasn’t on it. I thought it was hilarious that Dolphins head coach, Joe Philbin was getting onto Chad Johnson about the number of times he dropped the “F” bomb in front of the media. I mean it’s the NFL, not pee wee football, but I guess I get it.
I really wish Les Brown could block so we could see his wife longer. He’s not going to make it past the first cut.
I felt bad for offensive lineman, Derek Dennis. He got to camp and was cut the day before camp got started. It’s a cruel world man, damn.
Vontae Davis is being portrayed as a talented and very lazy player. Not sure how fair of an assessment that is of him though.
It was great to have an episode of Hard Knocks back on TV, so I’m not going to complain like many people are today. It was the first episode, so let’s have hope the rest get better and have more football coverage. And for everyone complaining, I bet you’ll watch next week.
That’s all I got,
