Here are my quick hits and jukes from this weekend’s football action from the NFL and College Football’s Top 25.
Top 25 College Football
Mississippi State vs. Alabama
Bama is the most complete team in the country and it’s not even an argument.
Georgia vs. Florida
That whole not really having a good QB finally caught up with Florida this weekend huh.
Texas Tech vs. Kansas State
What’s the world coming too?!? How the hell did Kansas State get this good overnight?
Colorado vs. Oregon
So, Oregon had 49 points at halftime and ended the game with 70 points. I’m convinced that Colorado is now an FCS team.
Notre Dame vs Oklahoma
As a Sooner, it still hurts. Notre Dame is just better than us point blank.
USC vs. Arizona
I have no clue what USC was doing? They absolutely suck on the road. Good looking out Marqise Lee though…345 yards receiving though?!?! Damn.
Duke vs. Florida State
With USC and Oklahoma losing, FSU is creeping on the come up.
Tennessee vs. South Carolina
Marcus Lattimore…go to the league now! Don’t redshirt and try to come back. Don’t let them fool you bro. No sense in coming back to college and risking injury again. Declare for the draft, someone will pick you up bro. CC: Willis McGahee.
Kent State vs. Rutgers
You turn the ball over 7 times at home, you don’t deserve to win. Nice jerseys though Rutgers.
Washington State vs. Stanford
Didn’t watch any of this game. Sorry.
Texas A&M vs. Auburn
For A&M to just cupid shuffle on into the SEC and be 3-2 in conference play and probably have been able to beat LSU has been pretty impressive.
Boise State vs. Wyoming/Ohio vs. Miami(OH)
Do I look like I watched either of these games? I hope I don’t, because…well, I didn’t.
Michigan vs. Nebraska
Denard Robinson left the game in the second quarter and so did Michigan’s chances of winning.
NFL
Buccaneers vs. Vikings
What the hell has happened to Christian Ponder? Mike Williams is a poor man’s Dez Bryant.
Panthers vs. Bears
As I predicted, the Panthers would lose, but Cam would win the press conference.
Chargers vs. Browns
The final score was 6-7. I pray for everyone who was forced to watch this game. The struggle had to have been so real.
Seahawks vs. Lions
The Lions won, but the Seahawks really outplayed them.
Jaguars vs. Packers
This was the closest thing that you’ll get to an NFL scrimmage.
Colts vs. Titans
Vick Ballard with the play of the year so far! Chris Johnson has put two back to back good games together.
Patriots vs. Rams
Why do we disrespect London every year. We send them a bullshit game. Why not actually give our friends across the pond a quality football game?
Dolphins vs. Jets
So…the Dolphins played with a backup QB and still spanked the Jets 30-9.
Falcons vs. Eagles
You can’t blame Vick for this one. The Falcons scored on their first 6 possessions.
Redskins vs. Steelers
You’re probably not going to beat the Steelers on the road when your team drops 9 of your passes. Sorry RGIII.
Raiders vs. Chiefs
Matt Cassel outplayed Carson Palmer and the Chiefs still lost by 10 points. Maybe it’s because the team turned the ball over four times and decided to only let Jamaal Charles carry the ball five times. Maybe, I’m wrong.
Giants vs. Cowboys
Why can’t the Cowboys play like that all the time and why don’t Giants have a killer instinct?
Saints vs. Broncos
The Broncos now have full head of steam. Their next nine games, they only face two teams with winning records.
