Since the Nick Foles has taken the helm in Philadelphia, and held his own, the rumor mill has been churning thoughts of Michael Vick’s departure from the Eagles. The number one destination is Minnesota and pairing Vick with Adrian “AD” Peterson.
That combination could be deadly for the NFL. Michael is a comeback, “prove you wrong” kind of guy. It also has been proven that he is extremely successful in domes (a la him splitting two defenders in Minnesota). I think Michael would thrive once again, especially with another elite back taking the heap of the workload.
Vick’s downfall this season has been that the Eagles have relied to much on his shoulders, rather than that of their All-Pro back, Lesean McCoy. In Minnesota, it would almost going to be a given that All Day will still be the focal point.
I think the pair would be a match in heaven especially with the speedy Percy Harvin on the outside. Vick would feel at home in the MetroDome and would have something to prove to the world once again. Do not be surprised if Vick is wearing purple and gold next year, winning the NFL comeback player of the year.
